MAHATMA project partners at the Department of Educational Sciences
On 4-5 April 2016 the Department of Educational Sciences hosted 15 visitors, most of them from Armenian and Georgian universities, who are MU partners in the MAHATMA project, Master in Higher Education Management: Developing Leaders for Managing Educational Transformation (TEMPUS-1-2012-1-AM-TEMPUS-JPCR).
The main item of the agenda was the support for Armenian and Georgian universities in establishing a common educational association and a specialist journal. Members of the Department of Educational Sciences (Milan Pol, Karla Brücknerová) offered the visitors experience in publishing the journal Studia paedagogica, Petr Novotný gave them information on Czech and European educational associations and societies and Mrs Jana Horáková, Vice-Dean of the Faculty, spoke about the publishing policy of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University.
An important part of the visit was dedicated to discussions among MAHATMA consortium representatives on the issues mentioned.
